New ToT Project: "FATALE"
Fatale is the working title of Tale of Tales newest venture.
From the Fatale website:
One may wonder why this blog, being focused on The Endless Forest, would talk about Tale of Tales' other ventures. The reason for this is that Tale of Tales is a cutting-edge gaming company that seeks to bring deeper values into the world of gaming. Indeed, their works such as The Endless Forest and The Path are works are art in of themselves. Their work also inspires may terrific artists, such as Quamar, Ephra, and Laruna.
That's all for now, for this blogger has to study for an exam in one of her Master's classes.
From the Fatale website:
It will be an interactive vignette in realtime 3DCheck it out!
based on the story of Salome,
particularly the play by Oscar Wilde.
Release date is 5 October 2009.

The Endless Forest on Display!
I can't believe that I've been so busy as to miss this. This was posted on the main Tale of Tales page on June 12:
Opening tonight, The
Endless Forest is a part of an exhibition at the Laguna Art
Museum, in the Los Angeles area in California. The show is dedicated to
World of Warcraft and sponsored by Blizzard. But curator Grace Kook-Anderson
decided to contrast the Awesome Art of the dungeon masters with the far more
modest creations of regular media artists such as Alexander Galloway, John
Klima, Eddo Stern, yours truly and many others. Sounds like an epic
battle!
Cool!

Project Greenleaf Stuff
The Endless Forest may be free to download and play, but the developers still must use their money and donations to help pay for updates and server space.
Project Greenleaf is a collaboration of artists and supporters to help donate money to Tale of Tales to keep The Endless Forest running. Light the Sky, a player in The Endless Forest, was kind enough to put this together. Those who have stores as part of Project Greenleaf donate some of what they earn from what they sell to Tale of Tales.
You may be delighted to know that two of our contributors here have their own non-profit stores there.

If you have participated by donating, supporting, or buying something from a Project Greenleaf store, thank you!
